Your favorite kitchen bestie, Alicia, is bringing you this week's digest. This week, we have been talking about meal prepping for the holidays. Cooking for a big group can be very stressful, but there are tips and tools to help you have a successful holiday meal! For me, Time management is my biggest stressor. Even though I have been cooking holiday meals for years, I still feel the pressure of the clock when it's "game time." Which one of these is your most significant stressor?

A big thing that has helped me over the last couple of years with time management is prepping days in advance. This frees up my oven and allows me to spend less time chopping, dicing, etc.

Another massive help in time management is using Crockpots and Pressure Cookers, especially since I only have one oven in this house. (Someday, I will have my dream double oven. 😍) I use them to reheat food I have prepped days before. I use them to keep foods at the perfect temperature until mealtime, and I even use them for cooking a small ham while my turkey is hanging out in the oven. My husband doesn't do turkey, so I started making a small ham for him each Thanksgiving, and now the whole family loves having both proteins!

The simple recipe below is my go-to: easy, delicious, and inexpensive!
